This is the first rough go at a portrait montage project im looking to shoot, i tried for a xpro effct but i have over done it by a long way but im tired and for a first go i just wanted to see if i had shot it ok, i think its maybe a little too straight, a touch to close maybe and needs some more angles as i shot it all kinda level but ill know for next time.

New Toy revisited

So yesterday i posted about the new toy i wanted to buy after reading some good reviews, i have since done A LOT more of my own research and im now torn between 3 cameras none of which are the Lumix i wrote about yesterday choices are

The Fujifilm X100 (released around march

 

Each one of these cameras looks amazing and the first 2 perform amazing (x100 not realeased so no real user reviews) i still have no idea which one i want, im sure i would be happy with any of them but i know when i purchase my camera of choice a little part of me will be left wanting the other. So maybe ill buy 2.

New Toy (released in February)

So for a while now ive been toying with the idea of buying a more "compact" camera point and shoot style but i still want manual controls and decent quality, Just the other day i found this little beauty its a Panasonic Lumix  GF2, its got a 14mm 2.5 lens with fully manual controls and a hot shoe, neat and tidy and much less intimidating than my monster of a Nikon. Really will just be used as a black and white take everywhere document everything type of camera similar to my lomo LCA but digital
